    WAYNE DALTON QUANTUM 4 COG HEAD GEAR
    You are bidding on a used Quantum head gear. Picture may not be the one bidding on. This operator has 2 gears, one on the rail and one on the motor head unit. Make sure you need the one on the head unit. This gear mates with the 4 cog rail gear. When replacing this gear, make sure the limits on the motor match the position of the rail trolley (according to the hook up piece on the chain, not necessarily the same as the physical trolley). (up or down) so you can fine tune the limits for proper operation. I usually run the motor without being attached to the rail till it hits either the up or down limit, depending on where the trolley connect piece is on the rail. If the safety sensor wires are not connected you'll need to give constant contact to the push button terminals to run motor limits to it's down position. Also, make sure you set up limit to stop before the trolley reaches the stop bolt in the rail, otherwise you might break the cogs off the new gear, or strip the gears on the head gear. Usually the cogs break off the rail gear after repeatedly hitting the stop bolt on the rail near the head unit.
