Vintage Camp Trails Frame Pack - Great Large Size Backpack in Excellent Condition!
Great for longere trips, or winter camping when you need a little more gear!
This auction is for a very clean older external aluminum frame backpack. I got this in a big lot of nice quality gear from an older gentleman who took really good care of his stuff. I kept a bunch of the stuff to use, and am selling the stuff I don't need.
This is a very nice quality pack. It holds a lot of gear, so great for winter camping or extended trips, or family backpacking where you have kids that can't carry all their own gear. Either way, this is a very nice quality pack that has been well cared for. I tried to show pics inside the major compartments, so you can see it isn't gross inside any of them.
I have taken a couple of pieces off to get this to ship a little more affordably. Here is what you will need to know. 1. I removed the top bar. You will need to remove the little round ring clips that hold in the pins. Then push the bar into place, you can tell by looking at it which hole it was in, but you can choose either hole. Then put the pins and clips back in. 2. I removed some of the anchor points of the padded waist belt. I left one side pinned so you can see what to do with the other side. Also the adjustable webbing strap on one side was disconnected. If you lay it out on the floor and put the parts where you think they should go, you should be able to work it with little problem. These are all parts that are meant to be adjusted to the specific wearer anyway.
This is a great vintage backpack in excellent condition, but please check out all the photos because it is being sold as described, as shown, no returns.
