Keyed outside with a thumbturn inside, the single cylinder bolt with 1/2" throw engages the garage door track to secure the door. Used by many manufacturers, the deadbolt fits most overhead garage doors and will replace most locking mechanisms of this type. Durable and built to last, the deadbolt is constructed from diecast metal and comes painted in an aluminum finish that will complement many garage door colors and materials. The package includes: one deadbolt that measures 2-5/16" x 1-3/4" hole centers, key cylinder with aluminum face and a 5-pin tumbler and cylinder ring, backplate, two nickel-plated brass keys and fasteners. Installation is quick and easy, and the deadbolt package includes an installation template and instructions.
