Just a great daypack by MountainSmith.
With ASCENT as the model,it might be a fair guess
it's intended as a technical pack? with the mesh front pocket and loops top and bottom and 2 rows of loops running vertically on the back.   But even if you aren't rock hopping, it's just a great day tripping bag.
It is internally supported with 2 aluminum rods that are shapeable to your back, hydration bladder ready, chest straps and waist belt.
It's a kind of no nonsense, no fuss backpack.   Very compact, not a lot of moving parts.
As mentioned, it has a zippered mesh compartment on the exterior and a large interior compartment.  There is a small zippered pocket under the top flap.
It also has two cinch belts on the bottom interior, like maybe for tightening  a sleeping bag down into the bottom.  The right shoulder strap has a nice tube keeper for your hydration bladder.
It is very clean, some scuffing on the interior, very minor scuffing on the exterior.
