MINI LATHE CHUCK CONNECTING ROD
Use a mini lathe chuck in your 1/2″ drill. Hold coin rings and other small parts from the outside or inside for polishing and sanding.
This listing is for the connecting rod only. Purchase your own mini lathe chuck.
When the chuck goes bad, (which the zinc / aluminum ones are especially prone to do after some use) you can just swap it out with a new one.
This short connecting rod eliminates the problems with the long connecting rods that create a wobble when you spin them in the drill.
Fits mini lathe chucks with M 12 x 1 threads. Example of inexpensive mini chuck models available online are:
ZO11 3 JAW CHUCK (ALUMINUM / ZINC)
rod length: 1.5″ inches
rod diameter 0.495″ inches
Please make sure your chuck has the correct threads for the rod, or that you will purchase a new chuck.
