Make SURE to check your motor shaft before purchase!
Always replace with motor that has splined shaft - the motor gear is designed for a splined shaft. and smooth shafts were only used when  Splined shafts were not available and if you try to reuse your gear on a smooth shaft it will slip, your gate opener will be useless.  We have had to repair a number of units where this has happened.
