    Description

    These are brand new cylinder bottom pins (.115 diameter) manufactured by Sargent (OEM). Original OEM Sargent bottom pins are not the same as other cylinder pins used in other pin tumbler locks. The portion of the pin that contacts the key is completely round on proper Sargent bottom pins, not conical like universal (or Schlage) pins. This round milling facilitates the movement of Sargent keys, which can have fairly deep bitting combinations. Universal pins may fit, but they can make the key difficult to move in and out of the keyway. See photo for comparison.
    These Sargent cylinder bottom pins are brand new, but have been broken down from a very large commercial sized lot into smaller (100 count) bags.
