Dana Design Rare Terraplane Overkill US Made Medium Excellent Condition

This is a classic, vintage, hard to find Dana Terraplane Overkill, size medium, the holy grail of vintage US made backpacks.
Dane Design made a limited number of these packs at their Bozeman, Montana facility in the mid 1990's to meet the demands of professional guides and park rangers who use their gear hard.  the packs were made with 1000 denier cordura instead of the standard 500d, and featured dual full length side access zippers on either side of the pack.  All overkill packs are black.  The overkill line was indicated by the color, but also by the addition of the letters "OK" after "TP"(Terraplane) on the hand written build tag (see photos).  This pack is simply awesome.  Arguably it was the best pack ever made in terms of quality craftsmanship, durability, and usability.
The condition of the pack is excellent and their are few signs of use.  There is some light soiling that will easily wash out.  There is little to no scuffing, and no rips, holes or tears.  All straps and buckles are in excellent condition with no significant signs of wear.  The only sign of age is the foam beneath the back mesh, which is no longer firm.  (if you felt it needed replacement, Mystery Ranch makes the part to fit the old Dana Terraplanes--it costs around ).
The pack is a medium, which will fit people with torsos 18-21", waist 32-36.
