    This is a Rare Antique Cast Iron Nut Cracker in the shape of a Walnut shell on one side. The other side is open, so you can place your nuts inside, and screw them down until they crack open. The item measures 4 ½” long when screwed entirely down, including the length of the screw handle. It also measures 2” wide x just over 1” tall.
